🧬 👣 NOW RECRUITING JUNIOR INVESTIGATORS! 🕵🏾♀️
FORENSIKIDS are offering a six-week forensic science course, designed to introduce children to the fascinating world of forensic science and investigation, through hands-on STEM learning.
Throughout the course, children become “Junior Investigators” as they explore a variety of topics including fingerprints, DNA, fibres, scene investigation, and more. Each session combines interactive activities, practical experiments, and teamwork in a fun and safe environment.
The course is designed to help children develop:
Every workshop is carefully structured to balance education with excitement, giving children the opportunity to learn real scientific concepts through engaging detective-style challenges and investigations.
Children will also receive take-home items and certificates along the way, making the experience memorable both inside and outside the classroom.
See below for further information.

An introduction to the basics of forensic science and how investigators solve mysteries!
Over the six weeks, participants will be solving their own in-class mystery.

What are fingerprints and why do we have them? Learn about the various types of patterns and how to lift them!

Learn how even the smallest of fibres can help with investigations! Practical sessions include comparing materials and learning how to recover them!

How would shoe prints help within a forensic case? Learn how footwear marks are left at scenes and why they may be very important!

What is DNA and how can it help us solve our case?
Let's get swabbing and find out!
Don't forget to put on your white suit, so you don't contaminate the scene!

Which of our suspects wrote the note?
Learn about handwriting comparisons and send others a secret message!
Our suspect will be identified within the final workshop.
